Lush, green grazing meadows, peaceful forest clearings and a fabulous mountain panoramy make Kleinarl and its surroundings an exceptional bikers' paradise.
Both beginners and expert mountain bikers will have a great time on the varied routes.

The Kleinarl lifts, the valley stations of which are situated right next to the Zirbenhof , transport bikes every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday quickly and safely up the mountain. With the Salzburger Land Card, which is available for a fixed charge, you can use the lifts in Kleinarl as often as you wish. That means you can start from an altitude of 1,350 or 1,960 m and discover a new tour every day.

Downhill Mountain Bike Park in Wagrain From the Zirbenhof it's just seven kilometres to Wagrain, where in summer 2006 the Wagrain Mountainbike Park was opened. It was modeled on the legendary Bike Park in Whistler Mountain in Canada by Jason Roe. Das Wagrain Griesskareck area offers perfect terrain suiting all types of riders. Travel up on the Flying Mozart gondola to the middle station and the start of the tracks: the longer route for advanced leads with wide, even and flowing paths including steep bends along a length of 2.4 km and a height difference of 300 m back down to the valley. The second, about 500 m long route for experts offers opportunities for jumps and stunts. At the valley station of the Flying Mozart you'll find the "Sport Factory", the Park's official bike shop. Here you can hire bikes as well as full face helmets and protective gear. [ further information ] |
